Cancellation
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to congress@columbus.at. Telephone cancellations cannot be accepted. Any refunds will be issued after the congress. In accordance with our congress policy, if the congress is cancelled, any fees already paid will be refunded in full.
Congress Fees
Cancellations up to June 30, 2026, will be refunded minus a processing fee of 10% of the total cancelled amount.
Between July 01 and August 21, 2026, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged.
For cancellations after August 21, 2026, a cancellation fee of 100% will apply.
Payment
Payments can only be made online or via bank transfer.
During the Conference, payments can only be made online. On-site payments will not be possible.
Liability

Please note that the organizer cannot be held liable for any additional fees or costs (travel expenses, hotel costs, etc.) incurred as a result of the cancellation of the congress. The organizer assumes no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage to the private property of congress participants or their accompanying persons.

COLUMBUS Reisen GmbH & Co KG (COLUMBUS Congress & Events) acts as an intermediary and cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any person or property, regardless of cause. Participants are therefore strongly advised to take out travel, health, and accident insurance.
COLUMBUS Reisen GmbH & Co KG (COLUMBUS Congress & Events), as well as all service providers involved in the event, shall not be responsible for partial or complete non-performance of the contract in the event of accidents, (threatened or actual) natural disasters, war, restrictions or interruptions of transport services, threats or acts of terrorism, government travel or terror warnings, strikes, lockouts, civil unrest, issuance of a travel warning by the World Health Organization (WHO), or other reasons beyond the control of the parties that prevent the venue and/or hotel from accommodating guests as part of the event, or if the event is cancelled for the same reasons.
Please note that COLUMBUS Reisen GmbH & Co KG (COLUMBUS Congress & Events) cannot be held liable for fees or costs arising from cancellation of the event. The stated cancellation conditions (for hotel reservations) also apply in the event of cancellation of the event. Only written agreements are valid. Place of jurisdiction is Vienna.
Insurance for Congress Fees
A lot can happen before your course, seminar, or congress begins: the CourseSeminarCongress Cancellation Protection covers cancellation costs if you are unexpectedly unable to attend due to an insured reason (e.g. sudden illness). Insurance coverage also applies if you must end the event early.
